Welcome to the MerchX Institute of Commerce website. By accessing or using our website and enrolling inour programs, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or register for our courses.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or registering for the CAFM (Certified Accountant and Finance Management) program, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with registration or use of our services.

2. Changes to Terms

MerchX Institute of Commerce reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the website or participation in our programs after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Eligibility

The CAFM program is intended for individuals who have completed their Plus Two (Class XII) or equivalent qualification and meet our admission criteria. By registering, you confirm that:
  • You meet the minimum eligibility requirements as communicated by our admissions team.
  • All information provided during registration is accurate, current, and complete.
  • You are registering voluntarily with full understanding of the program structure, duration, and fee obligations.

4. Program Structure and Fees

The CAFM program is a 3-year course consisting of 12 months of classroom training at MerchX Institute followed by 2 years of internship training with partner organizations. The total program fee, inclusive of registration, admission, and course charges, is ₹1,49,000, payable in 10 monthly installments as agreed at the time of admission. A non-refundable seat reservation fee of ₹1,000 is required to confirm enrollment. This amount is adjustable against the total program fee upon confirmation of admission.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

The ₹1,000 seat reservation fee is refundable only if the student and parent visit the institute after registration and are not satisfied with the program, as per the terms communicated at the time of enrollment. Once formal admission is confirmed and the admission process is complete, fees paid are non-refundable except as expressly stated in the admission agreement. Any refund requests must be submitted in writing to the institute management and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable regulations.

6. Internship and Stipend

MerchX Institute facilitates internship placements with its network of over 200 partner organizations including corporate companies, tax consulting firms, and startups across and outside Kerala. The institute does not guarantee placement with any specific organization.
During the internship period (Years 2 and 3), students are eligible to receive a stipend ranging from ₹2,00,000 to ₹4,00,000 over the two-year period, subject to performance, attendance, and the policies of the respective partner organization. The stipend amount is indicative and may vary based on the nature of the internship, partner organization policies, and the student's performance during training.

7. Job Placement Guarantee

MerchX Institute provides a 100% job placement guarantee upon successful completion of the CAFM program. This guarantee is formalized through a legal agreement signed by the student, parent/guardian, an advocate, and the institute manager on a ₹200 stamp paper at the time of admission. The placement guarantee is contingent upon:
  • Successful completion of all three years of the program including classroom training and internship.
  • Maintaining satisfactory attendance, performance, and conduct throughout the program.
  • Compliance with all institute policies and the terms of the placement agreement.
The nature and location of job placement will be determined based on the student's qualifications, performance, and available opportunities at the time of completion.

8. User Responsibilities

By accessing our website and registering for our programs, you agree to:
  • Use the website for lawful purposes only.
  • Not engage in any conduct that disrupts, restricts, or inhibits others' use of the website or nstitute services.
  • Not introduce any malicious software, viruses, or harmful material into our digital systems.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Comply with all institute rules, regulations, and codes of conduct as communicated during the program.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, graphics, logos, images, audio-visual content, course materials, and software is the property of MerchX Institute of Commerce or its content partners and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any such content is strictly prohibited. Course materials, simulator tools, and proprietary teaching methodologies including the Practical Learning Model (PLM) are exclusively owned by MerchX Institute and may not be copied, shared, or reproduced in any form without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MerchX Institute of Commerce, its directors, faculty, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, reliance on program information, or participation in the CAFM program, except as expressly covered under the placement agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MerchX Institute of Commerce, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions or misuse of the institute's services or platforms.

12. Termination of Enrollment

MerchX Institute reserves the right to terminate or suspend a student's enrollment without prior notice in cases of:
  • Violation of institute policies or code of conduct.
  • Non-payment of fees as per the agreed installment schedule.
  • Misrepresentation of information during admission.
  • Any conduct deemed harmful to the institute, fellow students, or partner organizations.
In such cases, fee refunds, if any, will be governed by the terms of the admission agreement.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms, the CAFM program, or use of the MerchX website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Malappuram, Kerala.
